At 456.26m long, Main Roads Bridge 6191, is the longest low-level crossing bridge in regional Western Australia and the second longest in the State behind the Mount Henry Bridge at 659.75m. The bridge spanned the Gascoyne River and provided a vital alternate access for plantation growers, tourists and the general public to the northern side of the river.
