Richard (Dick) Boyle CEng MIE (Aust) CPEng MICE (Ret)
Richard is a degree qualified Civil Engineer with over 50 years’ experience at company, project and construction management level. Richard’s vast bridge and construction experience within Australia also extends internationally to England, Africa, Malaysia and the Middle East.
Richard’s wealth of experience in the construction and delivery of technically demanding and complex bridge and multi-disciplinary civil engineering projects creates value to our clients and the company. Richard’s more notable Western Australian civil engineering projects has included the Mitchell Freeway Stage 2 and Garden Island Causeway Bridge, where Richard was the Project Manager for Taylor Woodrow International.
As a founding partner of Bocol, Richard has instilled deep-seated values of trust, respect and integrity within its business culture, strategies and policies.
Dermot Boyle BEng (Civil) MIE (Aust)
Dermot is a degree qualified civil engineer with over 23 years’ of civil construction experience, at both project and construction management levels.
Throughout his career, Dermot has gained valuable experience in all aspects of project implementation and delivery; having worked on large multi-disciplinary civil engineering projects in Queensland, Torres Strait Islands, South Australia, New South Wales and the Northern Territory.
Within his fourteen years at Bocol, Dermot has been responsible for the delivery of a number of significant bridge, tunnel and roadwork projects for Main Roads Western Australia, Public Transport Authority and Landcorp WA including; Exmouth Marina Suspension Footbridge, Nowergup Depot Access Road, Brookton Highway Improvement Works, Butler Extension Project, Wellard Road Over Rail Bridge and the Albany Waterfront Cable Stayed Footbridge.
Dermot’s bridge experience is extensive having been involved in the construction of over twenty four bridge and tunnel related structures.
As a Director, Dermot brings valuable experience to both the operational and management directions of the company.
Don Murley BSc (Hons) (Civil) CPEng
Engineering Manager – Bridges
Don is a professional qualified civil engineer with over 45 years’ experience in the construction of bridges and major concrete structures.
His vast bridge experience extends internationally to Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand and the Middle East. Don’s more notable international projects have included the Ma Wan Viaduct in Hong Kong and the Jeddah Mecca Expressway in Saudi Arabi.
His direct bridge experience involves numerous incrementally-launched bridges, cable-stayed pedestrian bridges, large post tensioned cast-insitu bridge structures, Super T and complex cast-insitu cut and cover type structures.
Within his 17 years at Bocol, Don has worked on numerous bridge projects, including; Bushmead Road, Rason Parade, House Creek, Duck Creek, Canning Bridge, Sulphur Road, Exmouth Marina, Albany Waterfront, Butler Extension Project, Brookton Highway Improvement Works, Jalbarragup Road, Agg Road and South Street Pedestrian Bridge.
Katherine Boyle BCom
Katherine has been with Bocol for over 5 years, and has a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from the University of Western Australia. Kathy is also advancing her professional education through Bocol, by studying for a Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Management at Curtin University of Western Australia, as a prerequisite for her Masters in Occupational Health and Safety. Kathy is also formally qualified in Internal Auditing to AS/NZS and ISO standards for health and safety, quality and the environment.
Kathy brings 8 years of valuable industrial relation and human resource experience to the company having worked in senior management positions at both the state and federal levels of Australia.
Kathy is responsible for the management of human resources and industrial relations of the company, and the implementation and continual improvement of the company’s integrated management system for health and safety, quality and the environment.
