For over 35 years’, Bocol as Principal Contractor, has established a strong reputation for delivering premium levels of specialised civil engineering construction service, to both the public and private sectors of Western Australia. Specialising in bridge construction and other civil related infrastructure, Bocol has a long and proven record in the successful delivery of technically demanding civil engineering construction projects throughout Western Australia.
Our clients include major government departments; Main Roads Western Australia and the Public Transport Authority, for whom we have completed over 45 bridge related infrastructure projects since our incorporation in 1979.
Our vast bridge construction experience varies in both scope and complexity from incrementally launched reinforced concrete structures to high steel-arch suspension footbridges. Our structural concrete experience extends to large cut and cover tunnels, mechanically stabilised earth walls, cantilevered piled retaining walls and heavy concrete foundations. Our other civil experience includes road highway construction with both granular and thick lift asphalt pavements to Main Roads Western Australia standard and specification.
Our company is prequalified to the highest Main Roads Western Australia Bridge Category, B4, and Roadwork Category R2. Further, Bocol is prequalified with Water Corporation and Landcorp WA, to undertake major multi-disciplinary civil construction works.

We have extensive experience in meeting aggressive and complex schedules, and the technical expertise in all forms of bridge and civil related infrastructure construction to provide constructability advice throughout all stages of the project delivery process. Our ability to procure the best supply chain personnel from; specialist design consultants, suppliers and subcontractors, is a result of our 35 years of procurement experience for both large and smaller type projects. We leverage these long standing relationships with safe and quality contractors who are able to deliver high quality and cost effective procurement services.
